Hurt myself this morning first thing
I got a fucking C on a test because the teacher put in trick questions on the material that I missed, and I missed only one day and took notes on everything when I got back
The rest of the class didn't do so hot either
So we got berated for about half an hour as she went on and on about how she didn't understand how we could have missed the questions
I went motel hunting just in case the warning about the ice storm came true, but every place was either too expensive or crappy, like I wouldn't even let my dog stay there, and with each motel I got treated badly and like I was retarded.
It was fucking freezing and that made my injuries hurt worse
And I kept getting weird stares/dirty looks ALL DAY LONG and yet there was NOTHING wrong with the way I looked
And I was limping, but I got dirty looks when I was just sitting there too
So my self esteem plummeted
When I got to work, I was being called all over the place and I was still injured so that didn't help me get better at ALL
And I kept being the only one to be called up to the registers because we were understaffed
I did my best and yet two customers yelled at me
I got mixed up toward the end with the closing duties and embarrassed the hell out of myself
My debit card said I had insufficient funds in my account to get gas
I was on empty
So it's a damn good thing I had some cash with me.
But that didn't really jazz up my day either
And I drove home in the cold, dark, rain/snow, worrying constantly about the promised ice storm.
And my heating system fails in my car so I was constantly trying to wipe the fog off my windows the entire hour home.
